Two Stage Cosmetic Reconstruction

This patient achieved her final result through a carefully planned two-stage breast enhancement. Due to her naturally small breast size and limited tissue, a staged approach provided the safest and most predictable outcome. Her first procedure involved breast fat grafting (fat transfer breast augmentation) to improve upper pole fullness, enhance breast shape, and prepare the tissues for future augmentation. Once the breast envelope had naturally expanded, Dr. Capizzi performed a second procedure with breast implants to achieve her desired increase in cup size. This patient underwent a 2-stage procedure, getting a breast lift first to improve the laxity of her breasts, then she received a breast augmentation with internal bra placement. Two-stage procedures are sometimes recommended to preserve nipple and tissue integrity, reducing the occurence of complications for complex cases.

After noticing changes in her breast shape over time and wanting a larger implant and more pronounced look, this patient underwent an implant revision initially to a larger size.
