Three Rhionplasty Misconceptions

Common misconceptions with rhinoplasty or a nose job are one: that you may need additional surgery in the future. The goal is to create a nose that you like and last you the rest of your life.

The second misconception is that you won’t be able to notice a change in shape or see your final shape until months after the surgery. The goal is for you to actually be able to see a huge change as soon as we take the splints down though the final shape may change over time as the swelling goes down.

The third misconception is that the surgery is technically different if we’re trying to improve breathing and or change the cosmetic appearance of your nose. The technique I like to use improves both breathing and the cosmetic appearance of your nose so if you have one or both problems we’ll be treating them the same way.
