TAYLOR STEWART

Taylor Stewart - Office Manager at Capizzi MD.When you walk into the office, Taylor is one of the first smiling faces you will see at Capizzi MD. She initially started as a cosmetologist before finding her calling in Aesthetic Office Management in 2012. What truly drives Taylor (other than her afternoon Coca-Cola) is the joy of watching others feel great in their skin. Whether it’s through the services provided or the ambiance of the office, aesthetics are essential in making clients and colleagues feel comfortable and valued.

The most inspiring part of her job as an office manager, coming from a background as a cosmetologist, is the opportunity to create an environment where both patients and colleagues feel welcomed and appreciated. As a cosmetologist, she found immense satisfaction in helping people feel great in their skin through beauty treatments. In her current role, she draws inspiration from the details of the office. She knows that the little things, from aesthetics to functionality, contribute to a positive and empowering experience for everyone who walks through our doors. It’s inspiring to see how a well-managed and aesthetically pleasing workspace can boost morale, productivity, and overall well-being, in the same way that a treatment can empower.

If Taylor were a superhero, her superpower would be the ability to inspire and empower others. She believes that the power to motivate and uplift people, helping them realize their potential and overcome challenges, is a superpower that can create positive change in the world. It’s not about physical abilities but about making a difference in people’s lives by igniting their inner strength and determination.

The best piece of advice Taylor has ever been given is to “embrace change.” This advice has been a guiding principle in both her career as a cosmetologist and as an office manager. Change is inevitable, and instead of fearing it, Taylor has learned to see it as an opportunity for growth and improvement. Whether it’s staying updated with the latest beauty trends or adapting to new office management strategies, embracing change has allowed Taylor to stay flexible, innovative, and continuously improve in my roles. It’s a reminder that change can lead to exciting new possibilities and personal development.

On Sunday mornings, you can usually find Taylor enjoying a morning coffee and on a walk with Henry, our dog, followed by the mission of finding the best breakfast potato in Charlotte.

One of my biggest bucket list dreams is to backpack through Ireland, even though I hate being cold and wet I would do it for Ireland! Exploring the landscapes, historic castles, and vibrant cities while immersing myself in the Irish culture.

OLIVIA CAPIZZI

Meet Olivia, Capizzi MD’s outstanding Operations Manager! If our office was an intricate designer dress, Olivia would be the thread holding it all together. She keeps our office running smoothly day-to-day by assisting all providers and the administrative team in any way she can. This might include ordering supplies, managing accounts, conversing with patients, training new staff, editing and refining marketing campaigns, working with industry reps, and more.

The vast array of responsibilities associated with the Operations Manager position may sound daunting to some – but not to Olivia. The eldest of Dr. Capizzi’s five children, she was practically born a manager. The best part? She truly enjoys making people’s lives easier and working with others to achieve a common goal. The fast-paced environment also keeps Olivia on her toes: the needs of a surgeon can change on a dime, and she is always on the lookout for solutions. When asked about the skills she brings to her job, Olivia explains the importance of having a positive attitude: “…the real things that you can take with you are your health and your happiness, nothing else matters. I love that I get to be a part of a practice that encourages the health and happiness of its patients. I feel like I’m a part of something that matters.”

Aside from growing up being educated on breast augmentation at the dinner table, Olivia graduated from Appalachian State in 2013 with a degree in fine art. She began assisting with the marketing materials and print design at the practice, which then expanded into more operations and management as she grew into the industry. Olivia has been working with Capizzi MD for almost 5 years now!

When she has the chance to break away from the office, you might find Olivia reading, walking her dog Ruby, or playing outside – kayaking, mountain biking, and traveling are a few of her favorite activities. Speaking of traveling: if you’re looking to cross an item off of her bucket list, Olivia is dying to take in the history and beauty of the mosques in Damascus. Flying around the world isn’t your thing? Meet Olivia to sip Aperol Spritzes in the sunshine!

ELIZABETH PATTERSON

Meet Elizabeth, the smiling face you see first at Capizzi MD Cosmetic Surgery & Med Spa! She’s your guide to a spa experience that is both relaxing and results-driven. Elizabeth expertly handles appointments, answers your questions, and ensures your visit runs smoothly, all with a warm and welcoming demeanor. She’s familiar with all our services and can help you choose the perfect treatment to achieve your goals.

Beyond the desk, Elizabeth has a biology degree that led her to years of field work tracking the elusive bobwhite quail in the Deep South. On Sunday mornings, you can likely find her at home reading bird books, her favorite form of self-care. While she may have left the bobwhite behind, she will always be a passionate ornithophile.
