THE CAPIZZI TEAM

Meet the Capizzi Team, featured are Emily Bain, Amy Whitley, Olivia Capizzi, and Alli Frindt.

Each individual member of Dr. Capizzi’s award-winning team stands as an accomplished, compassionate expert in their field, adhering to the highest standards of courtesy, professionalism and kindness. We want you to feel like our office is your second home, a place where your expectations of exceptional care are constantly exceeded. At every stage of your visit — from your first phone call to the big moment when you finally get to unveil the new, spectacular you — your happiness is our number one focus. The staff is here to create an atmosphere of unwavering support and guidance throughout every procedure. Every question, concern or special request is welcomed by our patient, friendly team members.

EMILY BAIN

Meet Emily Bain, Capizzi MD’s Marketing Coordinator. Emily loves capturing all that goes on in the office and in the operating room to share with our followers on social media and on our website. She thrives being the liaison between our practice and amazing patients!

On our social media accounts, Emily explains different surgical procedures and skincare treatments (in a trendy, aesthetically pleasing way of course). She also shares before and after photos, quarterly specials, and giveaways. On our website, she writes the blog and webpage content. Are you subscribed to our email newsletter? Keep an eye out for additional content from Emily in your inbox!

Originally from Belmont, NC Emily graduated from North Carolina State University with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Media. She went on to write for lifestyle and wedding magazines before moving into aesthetics. She describes herself as sociable, clever, and meticulous. Emily’s creative writing, editing, and marketing skills make her a vital member of our administrative team!

After work, you may spot Emily uncovering all that Charlotte has to offer – from new restaurants to new music, or making new friends over dirty martinis (always vodka and always straight up!). On Emily’s bucket list: Write and publish a children’s book.

AMY WHITLEY

Introducing our Patient Care Coordinator, Amy Whitley! From Botox to Breast Augmentations, Amy helps countless patients learn more about aesthetics, book appointments, and get ready for surgery.

A graduate of UNC Charlotte, Amy traded in her Bachelor’s in Psychology for a career in financial services before making the move to aesthetics – and she’s never looked back. Your first encounter with Amy will most likely happen over the phone – she handles all of Dr. Capizzi’s incoming inquiries and discusses all procedures and treatments offered at our practice. After answering all of your questions, Amy will get you scheduled for your surgical consultation

On the day of your consultation, after meeting with our surgical team, you will meet with Amy to go over all of the logistics involved with scheduling your big day. As Patient Care Coordinator, she is with our patients throughout the entire surgical process – from your initial inquiry to follow ups, Amy will be right there cheering you on! With her inviting personality, strong work ethic, and attention to detail, you can relax knowing you’re in great hands.

When she’s out of the office, you can find Amy taking a swing at TopGolf, catching a movie, or shopping for home goods. If you’re meeting her for a drink, don’t stress over where to go – Amy’s a fan of vodka, tequila, and wine…she’s diligent with Dr. Capizzi’s surgery schedule, but easy to satisfy in the spirits department!

OLIVIA CAPIZZI

Meet Olivia, Capizzi MD’s outstanding Operations Manager! If our office was an intricate designer dress, Olivia would be the thread holding it all together. She keeps our office running smoothly day-to-day by assisting all providers and the administrative team in any way she can. This might include ordering supplies, managing accounts, conversing with patients, training new staff, editing and refining marketing campaigns, working with industry reps, and more.

The vast array of responsibilities associated with the Operations Manager position may sound daunting to some – but not to Olivia. The eldest of Dr. Capizzi’s five children, she was practically born a manager. The best part? She truly enjoys making people’s lives easier and working with others to achieve a common goal. The fast-paced environment also keeps Olivia on her toes: the needs of a surgeon can change on a dime, and she is always on the lookout for solutions. When asked about the skills she brings to her job, Olivia explains the importance of having a positive attitude: “…the real things that you can take with you are your health and your happiness, nothing else matters. I love that I get to be a part of a practice that encourages the health and happiness of its patients. I feel like I’m a part of something that matters.”

Aside from growing up being educated on breast augmentation at the dinner table, Olivia graduated from Appalachian State in 2013 with a degree in fine art. She began assisting with the marketing materials and print design at the practice, which then expanded into more operations and management as she grew into the industry. Olivia has been working with Capizzi MD for almost 5 years now!

When she has the chance to break away from the office, you might find Olivia reading, walking her dog Ruby, or playing outside – kayaking, mountain biking, and traveling are a few of her favorite activities. Speaking of traveling: if you’re looking to cross an item off of her bucket list, Olivia is dying to take in the history and beauty of the mosques in Damascus. Flying around the world isn’t your thing? Meet Olivia to sip Aperol Spritzes in the sunshine!
