How Long Does a Facelift Take

On average a facelift procedure takes around five to six hours however this can vary depending on what other surgeries we’re doing with the face lift. Oftentimes we perform a brow lift, eyelid surgery, and/or fat grafting with the facelift which can add or change the amount of time the surgery takes. These are all important adjuncts in order to improve your total result at the end of surgery. I never focus on the total duration of surgery because at the end of the day my goal is to get you the look you’re going for and with the face it’s a very nuanced surgery so I want to take the time that’s necessary to do the operation.
