The Procedure

During the consultation, Dr. Capizzi will discuss the least invasive incision point for each patient’s body. He takes into consideration every individual’s choice of implant, body makeup, and medical records. This is a delicate area where the eye of a true artist shines through! His delicate care ensures an outcome that is seamless and authentic. Dr. Capizzi’s attention to detail dictates that the surgical site is as finite as possible. This reduces the risk of infection and facilitates a speedy recovery. No cumbersome tapes, braces, or bandages are necessary in post-operative care. Patients are usually able to resume their regular activities and exercise within 1-2 weeks after the procedure.

The most common point of insertion for the Breast Augmentation is under or over the pectoral muscles. Dr. Capizzi creates a small ‘pocket’ to cradle the implant. Breast Lift?

Implant insertion at the crease without the addition of a lift results in a “snoopy dog” look, where the breast tissue droops below the implant.
