The HALO Laser is an amazing treatment that can address many skin concerns without the disadvantage of extended recovery time. HALO combats fine lines, pigmentation, and more that are a result of aging and sun exposure. This is one of our most recommended treatments because of its ability to treat many skin concerns and get your glow back. Learn how:

1. HALO is the first hybrid fractional laser that treats all layers of your skin

HALO is a hybrid fractional laser that uses two distinct wavelengths, ablative and non-ablative, to treat both your epidermis (top layer of skin) and your dermis (thicker layer of tissue under the surface) at the same time.

2. HALO treats almost every skin concern

HALO uses laser technology to erase years of damage by triggering your body’s natural healing response and stimulating lots of collagen in your skin. It is used to improve your skin’s texture and clarity, restore youthful glow, and address the most popular skin concerns:

  • Fine lines & wrinkles
  • Sun damage
  • Acne scars
  • Sun spots
  • Enlarged pores

3. HALO works on all skin types

Something unique about this treatment is that it can be performed on any skin tone. Oftentimes lasers are limited to fairer skin types, but this one can be customized and used safely on olive to darker tones. The ideal candidate will have issues with pigmentation, skin damage, fine lines, acne scars, or other texture issues.

4. HALO discomfort is minimal, but expect to feel similar to a bad sunburn

With a topical anesthetic and integrated cooling technology, you will likely experience very little discomfort. Most patients describe the treatment as a feeling of heat with occasional prickling sensations, but are generally comfortable. After the treatment, you will continue to feel warm for an additional hour or two.

5. HALO takes about 90 minutes total

Treatment time varies depending on the size of the area being treated, but most take about 90 minutes from start to finish. To improve your experience, your aesthetician will apply topical numbing cream and allow that to sit for about 45 minutes. Then they will administer the treatment and finish by applying Alastin Regenerating Skin Nectar to soothe the treated skin.

6. You will see results in as little as one week

Patients who have received the treatment experience an improvement referred to as “the HALO Glow.” A single treatment can produce remarkable results in as little as 5-7 days. The HALO treatment is also customizable. Need to be back at work tomorrow? A light treatment creates smooth, vibrant skin that’s ready for makeup the next day. Want to WOW them? A deeper treatment will revitalize your skin and give it a youthful glow with only a few extra days of downtime.

7. Fewer treatments, better results

Patients can choose to do a single HALO treatment or opt for a series of treatments depending on depth, your skin health, and lifestyle needs. Your personal treatment plan will be developed by one of our Licensed Medical Aestheticians at your consultation.
