AMANDA CHUNG RN
Amanda Chung is another amazing member of the Capizzi MD team. She’s a Registered Nurse, so if you’ve had surgery or stopped by the Botox Bar, there’s a good chance you know Amanda!
She began her career in Illinois after she graduated from Bradley University with her Bachelors of Science in nursing. Amanda worked in the emergency department of a level I trauma center in Chicago before moving to Charlotte in 2018. Here in the QC, she continued to work in the emergency department at Atrium until finding her way to Capizzi MD.
As a nurse injector, you can spot Amanda around the office consulting patients on injectables like Botox and filler and other non-surgical treatments, she also helps on the surgical side and moonlights monitoring patients before and after surgery in pre/post-op. She has many years of high-stress nursing care under her belt, which lends to her easygoing attitude and confidence in the high-class care she delivers to her patients. She is constantly going to new, advanced trainings to see if she can find some new tricks to add to her repertoire. Sound like a lot? Not to Amanda – the best skills she brings to her job are her patience, attention to detail, and ability to work well under pressure (ever been in a busy emergency room?).
When she’s off the clock, Amanda loves trying out new restaurants…and photographing the food for her food Instagram account of course! Running a marathon is at the top of her bucket list, which she trains for by running around the office Monday-Friday. To Amanda, the absolute best happy hour drink is an Espresso Martini. Now we know where she gets all that energy…
